The Final Adventure for the Chaos Brigade!

Well, at least until the next one.  But here we discover the aftermath of the battle on the boats and the journey to Slavers' Bay...

From my left:
Chris as Lucius the insanely effective human holy warrior
Nick as Anna the time-slipping human Mercurial Warrior
Nilo as Noohien/ED the half-orc thief and master (?) of the void and thievery
Thomas as Trainfield the dwarven "Eh, you're fine" cleric
Matt as Nova the halfling thief and gourmand
Zack as Trinidon the elven magic-user and firemonger
Sarai as Parva the treelven druid and target of Trainfield's comment
Hunter as Vivianne the human magic-user and illusionist

The session began aboard the damaged ships from the sea battle: the badly damaged one the party had been on and the burnt sails one the orcs had been on. An effort was made to loot the orc ship while assessing the damage to the one the party had been on, plus the effort was made to retrieve the sailors who had abandoned ship when Viv's illusionary demon had appeared onboard. Notable treasure was gained from the orc vessel, and the party's vessel was taken to shore to be careened so the hull could be patched.
Once on shore the captain told the group that Slavers Bay was a day or so hike away. The party decided to make the trip on foot while the crew fixed up the boat. They hiked the rest of the day but were ambushed by an orc patrol in the mid afternoon. The battle was difficult due to the party being outnumbered 2:1, but they overcame their opponents without too much damage taken. As night fell they found a fairly secluded cove and camped for the night.
The next day they continued their journey toward the town, but while passing through a narrow valley they were attacked by two groups of orcs that held the high ground on each side. The battle was difficult, though Noohien was able to scramble up one of the steep slopes to attack the orcs there which made things easier since Noohien carved through the enemies without hesitation. Though some significant damage was taken, the party escaped relatively unscathed due to excellent use of spells by the spellcasters. Battered and somewhat bloody, they continued on.
Another ambush occurred as boulders began to hit members of the party, doing significant damage. Two stone giants were attacking from long range and injuring the group with hurled boulders. Once their ammunition was expended, the groups closed and the hand to hand combat began. The stone giants were seriously tough, and there was a lot of severe damage dealt to the characters before an orbital burst fireball from a flying Trinidon struck them down. After collecting a lot of loot, the party continued on.
By highsun they were close to Slavers Bay, and after the damage they had taken and the spells they had expended they chose to rest on the high ridge overlooking the town. The hope was that the group could rest and recover their spell points and hit points to be at full strength the next day. With that decision made, they prepared to rest for another night.

That night, of course, will take forever, possibly lasting until summer vacation for the college students who are out of town. But what will come next when the high level party reconvenes? Will they kill more of the slaver leadership? Will they sack the temples? Will Lucius get his Shield of the Water Elemental back? And what else may be discovered in the town called Slavers' Bay? Only time will tell...
